Site Regulations

This has been put in place to ensure everyone has a wonderful time & we're all on the same page!

This is very much a family-run campsite, a place to relax, take in the view & hang out with family & friends. If anyone causes disruption or not abiding by campsite rules they will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. 

Campsite Rules

● No smoking inside the Bell Tents.

● Please do not use the log boxes for tables/chairs, they can break!

● When camping with us you do at entirely your own risk, we advise taking insurance out against injury, loss, damages. We take no responsibility.

● Firewood must be purchased on-site, you can only use this wood, no other firewood can be used. Do not forage dead/live wood from the woodland - you will be asked to leave with no refund. We don’t allow wood burners on site.

● Please keep the noise down between 10 pm - 8 am

● Dogs are very welcome. Please keep your dogs under control at all times & on leads. Please clear up your dog mess & pop into doggy bags & into the provided dog bin, do NOT throw bags into the woodland or grass. Be vigilant as many little feet running around.

● No lanterns or fireworks.

● Disposable bbq's are not permitted.

● Only instruments are allowed on-site, no loud playing music, please.

● If the weather turns on us, we have the right to close the campsite at our discretion for your safety.

Reservoir swimming

● Although our reservoirs are millions of gallons, in hot weather/dry months/limited rainfall they are put through their paces, for irrigation, the water level will drop, but this hasn’t stopped the water fun!

● You swim entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of others at all times

● Wild Combe Camping takes no responsibility for the safety of you or your party

● Please ensure children under 16 are supervised, by a responsible adult at all times, never leave a child unattended

● There are inherent risks in wild swimming. Please seek to minimise them

● There is a life ring

● The Reservoir is 17 feet deep in the middle, be mindful of being out of your depth

● Always know how you will get out before you go into the water

● Never swim alone or after taking alcohol or drugs

● Be aware of other swimmers in the reservoir

● Don’t enter the water if you have an open wound

● The reservoir water is cold, acclimatize yourself to the water temperature before swimming

● You should be in good health, do not swim if you are feeling unwell or if you have a health condition which could endanger yourself whilst in the water

● When booking with us you & your party accept & agree to these regulations. Wild Combe Camping takes no responsibility for any injury, loss, damages.

● Only Paddle Boards & Kayaks are allowed on the reservoirs.
